Advantages of Water-based Inks
Water-based inks are desirable when aiming to achieve a “soft hand” effect. This refers to the high quality feel of the screen printed shirt in which the ink film cannot easily be felt when the hand is passed across the surface of the fabric. This effect is seen as preferable to traditional-use plastisol inks due to resulting softness of the print.
